Luci Mae’s now carries some of the best Italian coffee in America, Caffè Manaresi. We searched for coffee beans that is authentic and gourmet as the rest of our products. We found that quality, gourmet bean in Tuscany Italy. Specifically from the beautiful Tuscan hills, right in the heart of Tuscany on the ancient Roman road, the Via Cassia, now also known as the "wine road".
Luci Mae’s also teamed up with our Italian counter parts to not only find the perfect bean, but also to help with the Italian process for making a perfect cup of espresso. We have tested extensively with the amount of grams and extraction time to produce the perfect espresso shot. Our process makes sure that our extraction is never bitter or burnt. The extraction process and beans produce a rich flavor with complex hints. Every morning we test for quality and adjust that days extraction to insure only a quality extraction is made for every cup.

Why Manaresi?
Since 1898 Caffè Manaresi is one of the original authors of Italian espresso as we know it today. The name Manaresi is in fact linked to the famous Caffè de 'Ritti, the first bar in Florence to serve coffee standing up and not exclusively at the table as was customary. Coffee, so called espresso. A fashion that has become an Italian habit today appreciated all over the world.
